Vacancy Details: State-wise and Category-wise
The recruitment offers 750 apprentice seats across various states and Union Territories in India. The seats are reserved for different categories as per government norms, including SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and General, along with provisions for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
- Tamil Nadu leads with 200 vacancies, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 110 seats, and Maharashtra with 85 seats.
- Smaller states and UTs such as Goa, Sikkim, and Mizoram have 1–2 seats each.

IOB: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the nationality, age, and educational qualification requirements.
1. Nationality
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
2. Age Limit (as of 01 August 2025)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Candidates must be born between 01 August 1997 and 01 August 2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Age relaxation applies:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years
- PwBD – 10 years

3. Educational Qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Stipend Structure
Selected apprentices will undergo one year of training and will receive a monthly stipend based on the branch location:
